This Is Who I Am
I was talking with my cousins last night about helping oneself that I felt an ache to write down things I can't verbally explain to them. And so here I am right now, pouring all my hidden thoughts about this complicated topic. So let me start this up by saying that I am a free-spirited woman. I care about people alot but i don't usually give a damn to the things they might think about me. I respect their individuality but I care less to their negative opinions to me or to everyone else. I live my life on my own and I don't need to please everyone all the time. Other people might think that I'm a reckless, self-centered brat. A snob who walks around with the infamous I-don't-care attitude. A critic who never worries about her own criticisms. Well, maybe I am all of those things... and everything I am not. I'm full of contradictions. And I'm proud of it! I am reckless and plays with the borders of morality but I practice the values that are planted in my heart by my elders. I'm a self-centered brat but I give in and give all for the sake of my love ones. I'm a snob who sees the kindness inside the heart of each and everyone else. I'm a critic who accepts my insensitiveness and accepts other's sensitivity. I'm different. I'm crazy. I'm just being me. Hmmm, just being me. Scary---yes, definitely. But then this is my life. I make my own destiny regardless of what others may say. I succeed because I succeed. I failed because I failed. I am what I am and I will be whatever I want to be. That's your own life. I am merely an audience that will criticize and appreciate your every move. I am merely a player who will compete and fools around with you. I am merely a family member that will catch you when you fall. I am merely a friend who will be your toughest judge, your crying shoulder, your soulsister. I am merely a shadow in your life that will scare you sometimes and nags you all day long. And I am merely a person that will be just another person for you that will love and cherish you for all time. This is my life, that is your life.
