Is a Real Estate business possible without a license? Each state requires its own licensure and continuing education to start a business in real estate however most people find it a hassle to start a real estate career. Each state has dozens of MLS organizations further reducing the available market for people who want to start or expand being in the industry. The investment in both time and money to actually be a realtor is slowly setting back the industry by discouraging new players to improve on the healthy competition.
This is not a problem if you?re an existing broker but the proliferation of telecommuters is becoming more and more popular for realtors and the advent of internet technology has become another mass media market for realtors to compete upon.
