Eye to Eye on Keratitis

So many people around the world wear contacts. Contact lenses have brought about a revolution in eye wear and vision, but there are so many problems that the wearing of them could cause. Even diseases and infections are caused by their improper use. The problems have fortunately been recognized over the past few years. The lens structure and the excessive production of tears can lead to infections. It all starts with itching and rubbing of the eyes. This is normally not noticed by lots of users as they think that itching and rubbing is a very common problem during the initial use of contact lenses. But they don’t realize that too much of this could cause infection such as keratitis.
