The promises of diet pills or dietary supplements have almost always proved to be false and misleading. Huge scams were revealed when false commercials and untruthful claims were made public by producers and/or distributors.
False campaigns
More than 50 percent of Americans and Canadians are overweight or obese. More than a half the advertising campaigns for diet pills and dietary supplements are intentionally false or fail to reveal the truth, according to the FTC.
