In the world of search engine optimization (SEO) there is little doubt that keywords are a vital ingredient in a website's success. If the pages on a site are characterized by a combination of unique & relevant content and contain keywords to around 3% - 5% density, then you can guarantee that it will be well on its way to achieving some high search engine ranking results.
Choosing the right keywords with which to optimize a site is of course central to its success. Traditionally, website owners have tended to focus on the promotion of a set of individual keywords that they feel are most likely to be used in searches by their target audience. This is fine and continues to stand as a core concept of SEO.
