South Korea is a presidential republic located in southern Korean Peninsula. It is an East Asian country. Located at the geographical coordinates of 37° North and 127.5° East, South Korea is spanned over an area of 100,210 square kilometres. The population of 48,875,000 makes it the 25th most populous nation in the world followed by Myanmar. It shares its boundary with North Korea in the north, Taiwan in the south, Japan in the East and China in the West.
