Both are same project from Apache,but in the case of increasing the web applications,struts1 might not be reach requirement,but i m sure that,struts 2 will more performance than struts1.easy validations,provides powerful interceptors concepts,OGNL language,Easy Spring integration...etc.So based on requirements we should choose the framework...
