Difference between Java and J2EE:
1) Java is defined as a programming language while J2EE is defined as an implementation of the Java programming language. J2EE is used for web-based applications.
2) Java is an object-oriented program which is used for general-purpose programming in the process of programming on the Internet while J2EE is used in the process of building server-side applications. It is used in the enterprise edition in many business organizations. It is also used as an enterprise application and a distributed application through a model consisting of applications which are based on components.
