IS JAVA PURE OBJECT ORIENTED OR NOT?
Java is not a pure object oriented language because of the following reasons:
1)It uses primitive data type like int, float which are not object
2)It does not support operator overloading and multiple inheritance.
3)It allows static methods to call without creating the instance.
No..java is not a pure OOPS
JAVA is not because it supports Primitive datatype such as int, byte, long... etc, to be used, which are not objects. Contrast with a pure OOPs language like Smalltalk, where there are no primitive types, and boolean, int and methods are all objects.
