Hi,

You can use any of the Database to save the data. You JSP program should run against other database if you have not used any sql specific to a particular database.

For example in MySQL there is auto-increment property for the int primary key. But in in Oracle there is no auto-increment like thing. Instead it supports the Sequences.

So, there is small differences among the database implementations. So, should well aware about these differences while writing the SQL queries.
